Free Pattern: Plarn Wet Swimsuit Pouch

Wet swimsuits are annoying, especially when you have to stick them back in a bag full of other things, like dry diapers and snacks.  This plarn pouch keeps the wet suits from soaking the other things in the bag, but it breathes, so that the suits won't get stinky quite so fast if you forget to take them out!
This is the first plarn project I've finished.   Plarn is pretty tough to work with, so make sure you give your wrists plenty of breaks!

Supplies:
Plarn (about 25 bags, strips cut 1" thick)
Size 10 (P/15) hook

Abbreviations:
Ch - chain
Sc - single crochet
Hdc - half double crochet

Instructions:
Ch 21
Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook, and across.  (20)
(Or, you could fsc 20)
From here, work in rounds.
Round 1: Ch 2.  Hdc in end of row, hdc in each sc across.  Hdc in end of row, hdc in the other side of each sc across.  Join.  (42 hdc)
Rounds 2 - 15: Ch 2.  Hdc in each hdc around. (42 hdc)

Sl st over, or finish off and rejoin in the 6th st from the side.  Ch 20.  Attach with a sl st to the 6th st from the other side.  Finish off, weave in ends.

Sew either flower (below) or a button to the fifth row down (or wherever is right for the loop).  Weave in end.

Flower:
(You can't use the magic ring with plarn!  It breaks. Boo!)
Round 1: Ch 2.  In second ch from hook, 5 sc.  Join with sl st.
Round 2: In each sc around, (sl st, ch 2, dc, ch 2, sl st).  Finish off with a long tail for sewing.  Weave in other end.
